What Is Track2Trail - (Dog Tracking/Trailing)?
Track2Trail teaches your dog to follow a specific human scent trail — using their nose to locate the person or item at the end. It’s mentally stimulating, confidence-building and brilliant for dogs who love to sniff and problem-solve. Its the perfect blend of Tracking and Mantrailing.
We train in real outdoor environments across Tamworth and the wider Midlands, using scent theory, search patterns and reward-based motivation.

How Sessions Work
Where: Mainly around Tamworth, Staffordshire, with 1–2–1s available across the Midlands.
Session options:
• Group sessions – learn together and celebrate each dog’s progress.
• 1–2–1's – perfect for dogs who need space or focused support.
• Workshops – for handlers wanting to dive deeper into sport or operational-style tracking.
What to bring:
A well-fitted harness, long line, high-value treats, water, and clothes you don’t mind getting muddy.
All sessions are reward-based and dog-led — no pressure, no corrections, no gadgets.
About Your Trainer
I found tracking around 10 years ago thanks to a dog called Nero, who didn’t fit the usual mould. He was clever, quirky and needed a job that made sense to him. When I stopped trying to control him and started letting him lead, everything changed.
That experience shaped my approach: honest, no-fuss and ego-free. I believe dogs have more to teach us than we have to teach them — and I love helping people see what their dogs are capable of when we learn to listen.
I’m not the flashiest trainer on social media, but I walk the walk. My goal is for you to leave every session feeling confident, inspired and proud of your dog.
